Kangaroo Unbound exhibition is made up of paintings, etchings and collagraphs from Garry Shead’s iconic DH Lawrence series, coupled with poetry written by UOW lecturer Luke Johnson in response to those artworks.

The poetry project has been in train for several years now, but the idea of working on this exhibition together came about largely through Garry’s recent donation to UOW’s Art Collection on this the 100-year anniversary of the publication of DH Lawrence’s novel, Kangaroo, as well as the support of ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Art Gallery.

Official exhibition opening event
4.00 pm to 6.00 pm on Tuesday 19 September and will feature an in situ poetry reading.
The exhibition will be open weekdays 10 am to 2 pm from 11 September to 29 September
