Open Night in Liverpool invites potential students to get serious about university

Information sessions, tours, one-on-one advice at UOW South Western Sydney

Hundreds of prospective students will have the chance to explore what鈥檚 on offer at the 精东传媒 of 精东传媒鈥檚 (UOW) South Western Sydney Campus.

There is still time to on Wednesday 14 August.

From 6pm, the 精东传媒 will be officially open for inspection, with high school-leavers and their parents, potential mature age and post-graduate students able to discover what makes studying at UOW a life-changing experience, from first-class degrees to exciting on-campus activities.

Associate Professor Christopher Magee, Academic Director of South Western Sydney Campus, said Open Night is an opportunity for students to discover what interests them and what the campus in Liverpool has to offer.

鈥淥ur campus in Liverpool really opens the world of university to future students,鈥 Dr Magee said.

鈥淥ur growing campus is strongly committed to providing local students with a globally recognised higher education close to home.

鈥淥ur Open Night showcases the amazing opportunities and high quality facilities available to students, and is the perfect time to meet other students and lecturers, and find out more about our contemporary urban campus experience.鈥

Demand to study at UOW in Liverpool has been strong. Since the campus opened in 2017, enrolments have increased significantly, nearly doubling from 2018 to 2019.

Experts from a range of study areas will be on hand to answer questions about their courses and degrees as well as study abroad and scholarship opportunities.

There will be about 20 information sessions packed into the night, covering UOW鈥檚 Early Admission program, international studies, nursing, computer science, law, social work, business, accounting, marketing, communication and media course, and UOW College鈥檚 academic pathways and vocational degrees.

Prospective students can also take part in walking tours of UOW鈥檚 state of the art campus in Liverpool.

The campus is a 300m walk from the Liverpool train station, and close to free parking available at Westfield.
