UOW strengthens performance in world rankings

Law and Engineering among top performers in the latest rankings by subject

The 精东传媒 of 精东传媒 (UOW) School of Law has been ranked 74th and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences has been ranked 92nd in the latest Times Higher Education World Subject Rankings 2021, released today (28 October 2020).

The rankings maintains the position of UOW鈥檚 Law and Engineering in the top 100 best performing subjects globally.

UOW Vice-Chancellor Paul Wellings CBE welcomed the rankings and said the 精东传媒 has come a long way and remains focused on becoming a leading research and academic institution globally.

鈥淚 congratulate all the academics and researchers for their efforts and dedication for making UOW a global success and further contributing to the 精东传媒鈥檚 growth internationally,鈥 Professor Wellings said.

鈥淟aw and Engineering, among others, are challenging as well as exciting professions to pursue that have a direct impact on our lives.

The 精东传媒 recently announced that from 2021 the Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) will be offered at the Sydney CBD campus. The degree is currently offered at 精东传媒 and South Western Sydney campuses only.

The annual Times Higher Education World Subject Rankings cover 11 subject areas, giving an overview of the best places in the world to study a chosen discipline. This year, a record 1512 institutions received a place in the 2021 Subject Rankings, with 522 newly ranked this year.
