New high for UOW in QS World 精东传媒 Rankings
Rankings place UOW in top 1 per cent of universities globally
The 精东传媒 of 精东传媒 (UOW) has performed remarkably well in the QS World 精东传媒 Rankings 2023 announced today (Wednesday, 9 June 2022), rising eight places to rank 185th globally, UOW鈥檚 best result in this ranking to date.
UOW ranked 10th among Australian universities.
A highlight of the result, which places UOW in the top 1 per cent of universities worldwide, was an exceptional achievement in the category of research citations (a measure of research quality), securing 74th place out of 1400 universities globally. This reflects UOW鈥檚 significant strength and investments in key areas such as clean energy, health and education that have positive global impacts.
The 精东传媒 is also committed to attracting and retaining a diverse pool of talent that brings knowledge and expertise to research-intensive areas and makes UOW an inclusive and collaborative place to work and study. This year鈥檚 results echoed UOW鈥檚 strong commitment to diversity and inclusion by securing 149th rank globally in the international faculty indicator.
UOW Vice-Chancellor Professor Patricia M. Davidson said the rankings showcase UOW鈥檚 commitment to creating a positive global impact through evidence-based research and teaching initiatives.
