Strong performance in QS rankings by subject
Engineering and Technology tops the highly performing subject area
The 精东传媒 of 精东传媒 (UOW) has performed strongly across the subject areas in the latest 2022 QS World 精东传媒 Rankings by Subject, released today (6th April).
Overall, Engineering and Technology as a broad subject area was ranked 147th globally, a result achieved collectively due to exceptional rankings in Minerals and Mining engineering, ranked 30th globally, and Civil and Structural engineering ranked in top 100 globally and equal 6th in Australia.
Materials Science has performed exceptionally well, achieving 78th rank globally and 5th in Australia. The 精东传媒鈥檚 innovative solutions and research success at its and recent breakthroughs in hydrogen technologies have made UOW research a global success.
鲍翱奥鈥檚 Molecular Horizons is a world-class medical research facility dedicated to solving real-world health problems in our community 鈥 from the level of single molecules to the entire body. The Facility also invests in nurturing and training the next generation of researchers through its scholarship programs. These research and investment indicators were reflected in the rankings, with Chemistry ranked 143rd globally and 8th in Australia.
The 精东传媒鈥檚 Nursing program was ranked in the top 100 globally, a major area of focus for UOW to produce world-class healthcare professionals and address future workforce shortages.
The rankings also showed significant strength in Archaeology, Law and Philosophy, all ranked in the top 150 globally; Statistics & Operational Research was also ranked in the top 150 globally and 7th in Australia.
UOW Vice-Chancellor Professor Patricia M. Davidson welcomed the results and said the rankings echo the dedication and hard work of the researchers across the board at the 精东传媒.
