UOW graduates rated the best employees in Australia

Nationwide, employer satisfaction was rated highest for graduates from the 精东传媒 of 精东传媒

The national survey of Australian employers鈥� satisfaction released today (Tuesday, 1 February 2022) shows the 精东传媒 of 精东传媒 (UOW) produces graduates with the skills and qualifications that employers need.

found that employers鈥� overall satisfaction level with UOW graduates was at 91.7 per cent, securing UOW the top spot among all universities nationally.

This result is an increase in overall employers鈥� satisfaction levels from last year鈥檚 89.6 per cent, and a big nod to the 精东传媒鈥檚 overarching goal to provide the education that offers the best start in life.

In 2022, employers reported the highest overall satisfaction with engineering and related technologies graduates (at 90 per cent). Supervisors also reported above-average satisfaction with health graduates (at 89 per cent), architecture and building graduates (88 per cent) and education graduates (87 per cent).

UOW Vice-Chancellor Professor Patricia M. Davidson welcomed the results with delight.

One of such programs is its signature UOWx program, which motivates young people to get involved in university-recognised co-curricular opportunities 鈥� from projects to campaigns and workshops 鈥� allowing them to grow and thrive beyond the classroom.

UOW also encourages student-led entrepreneurship initiatives through its strong industry connections and a broad range of international study abroad destinations.

ABOUT THE SURVEY

The annual QILT Employer Satisfaction Survey measures how well graduates from Australian higher education institutions meet employers鈥� needs. The report asks supervisors to rate their satisfaction with the performance of graduate employees in their workplace across five key skills areas: Foundation skills, Adaptive skills, Collaborative skills, Technical and Employability skills. The results indicate graduates鈥� readiness for the workplace.
