World-class residential football program prepares high school students with unique football skills
Five-day UOW Tottenham Hotspur Elite Residential Program builds intensive football skills
The ¾«¶«´«Ã½ of ¾«¶«´«Ã½’s (UOW) Elite Residential Program (ERP) offers high school students a one-of-its-kind opportunity to develop their skills through a world-leading football training system.
The five-day program has been tailored to build the football skills of students in years 9 through 12, with major aspects of the UOW Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Program included. It aims to give students a better understanding of the tactical and technical areas of the game within a short period.
UOW Tottenham Hotspur head coach Matheus Scapin said the students would get to train with the highly experienced coaches and the training will enable students to challenge themselves and help them realise their full potential.
“The ERP is a great opportunity to experience the life of a professional footballer for a week, Mr Scapin said.
“The Program will give the players an understanding of what it takes to reach the top. I am very excited to welcome players to UOW for this incredible opportunity to work hard, learn and improve their game.”
Enrolled students are not required to reside on campus to complete the program, but it is recommended that they do if they do not live locally as the sessions finish late in the evening.
The ¾«¶«´«Ã½ strictly follows COVID-safe protocols and guidelines from NSW Health to keep students and staff safe on campus.
