Scholarships

Scholarships and awards are available for eligible HDR candidates at UOW. These scholarships include annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs.

¾«¶«´«Ã½ Postgraduate Awards (UPAs) are a stipend intended to cover some living expenses.

¾«¶«´«Ã½ Postgraduate Award Indigenous (UPAI)

UOW offers Indigenous PhD scholars the maximum Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate to undertake a Doctoral or Master of Philosophy degree.

International Postgraduate Tuition Awards (IPTA)

International Postgraduate Tuition Awards (IPTAs) are awarded to cover international HDR students' tuition fees in certain circumstances.

ECA of NSW Conservation Grant and Ray Williams Mammal Research Grant 

The Ecological Consultants Association of NSW supports ecological research in Australia and would like to award two grants this year to assist researchers to carry out their ecological projects.

Study area: Environmental & Biological Science

Student type: Domestic students, International students

Scholarship amount: Successful applicants must sign a Grant Agreement to receive 90% ($2700) of the funding. 

The final 10% ($300) received on provision of the budget report and scientific paper or conference presentation for inclusion in Consulting Ecology. 

As the ECA of NSW is not registered for GST, If GST must be included, it will be part of the $3000.
